Clovis, the lovable destroyer

A perfect dog… in appearance

Clovis is the most adorable dog in the world. Faithful, affectionate, always glued to his master, he would melt anyone’s heart with his touching eyes. But behind this angelic face lies a veritable hurricane of mischief.

When humans are absent, everything changes

As soon as his human leaves the house, Clovis goes into mass destruction mode.

An expert in domestic chaos

A house transformed into a disaster zone

The horror begins as soon as the door closes. In a matter of minutes, he turns the house into a disaster zone.
Slippers? Devoured.
Pillows? Flayed, leaving a cloud of feathers floating in the air.
Toilet rolls? Reduced to confetti, carefully scattered in every room.

On days of great inspiration…

And on inspirational days, Clovis attacks the flour sacks. The result: a kitchen that looks like a snow-covered battlefield.

The diagnosis: extreme emotional dependence

A constant need for presence

The vet’s verdict: Clovis suffers from severe emotional dependence. He can’t stand being alone, and expresses his despair by devastating everything in his path.

A solution… or almost

Accepting (and adapting to) Clovis

We’ve tried everything: interactive toys, soothing music, anti-boredom treats… Nothing works. Clovis prefers artistic destruction.

A daily surprise party

So we accepted her little flaw (and bought some slippers, basically). After all, who could resist that innocent look?
And then, just between us… I have to admit that walking into a pile of feathers on the way home is a bit like experiencing a surprise party every day!
