Who is “Ginette”?
The alley was abuzz with activity: a feline beauty pageant was in the works, and, unwittingly, Ginette was entered alongside Miss Tigry, the most glamorous and sophisticated cat in the whole neighborhood. For Miss Tigry, the contest was the perfect stage on which to shine – she’d prepared every detail, from her impeccable false eyelashes to her state-of-the-art gown signed by a Quebec couturier. She had practiced parading with grace, ready to dazzle the audience.
As for Ginette, she had never dreamed of such a competition. She lived day by day, carefree, savoring every moment of her youth.
