Gustave doesn’t care about society’s standards; he’s just comfortable in his own skin and in nature. He strolls, he breathes, he enjoys the tranquility of the forests, like a wise man who knows true happiness.

You could think of it as a Roger Bon Temps. No need for luxury or fuss. Gustave finds pleasure in the simple things in life: a campfire, a cup of coffee in the morning, birdsong and the wind in the trees. He doesn’t chase glory or wealth, he chases serenity. He dresses casually, carefree, always ready to venture out into the woods.

When Gustave is in the woods, he feels at home. It’s his favorite place, where he can be himself, far from the constraints and noise of the world. He doesn’t need much to be happy, just a little nature, blue skies and the freedom to be who he is. For him, happiness lies in the simplicity and authenticity of the wilderness.

In the end, Gustave is a simple man, a man of the woods. His world is uncomplicated. He lives at nature’s pace, and looks for nothing more. He’s in no hurry, and makes the most of every moment. For him, every day is an adventure and every moment spent in the forest is a gift. A true Roger Bon Temps, who wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

But Gustave is not only a man of the woods, he’s also a proud father. His puppy Peanut, whom he had with his partner, is already following in his footsteps. Peanut, even as a youngster, shows an obvious love for wooden branches, just like his father. He already resembles Gustave, and it’s clear that he’ll become another woodland dog. Father and son, together in the woods, they share precious moments in their natural refuge, destined to live together far from the preoccupations of the outside world.
