This Quebec-made fused glass cardinal ornament is part of the Percé-Verre Holiday Collection. A symbol of remembrance, subtle presence and lasting beauty, it evokes those precious moments that mark the heart and never really fade away.

The cardinal
When the cardinal appears, memories are never far away. He brings with him moments lived, laughter, and traces left in the heart. He leaves discreetly… as if he’d done nothing. But the beauty remains.

Every detail of this Quebec-made fused glass cardinal ornament is shaped by hand in my workshop. I meticulously cut, superimpose and assemble the glass pieces before placing them in the kiln. The controlled heat fuses the glass, uniting the colors and revealing their depth. This is not blown glass, but a handcrafted fusing process, carried out piece by piece with precision.

With its vibrant red hue and elegant silhouette, the cardinal naturally draws the eye to the tree. However, beyond its visual beauty, it becomes a delicate symbol: of invisible ties, precious memories and presences that continue to watch over us in other ways. What’s more, each ornament is accompanied by a printed card bearing its story, to be treasured year after year.

Note: The images shown here are workshop prototypes. The final version will be optimized both in terms of the anodized aluminum and the precision of the glass parts for a perfectly harmonious look.
