This Québec-made fused glass gnome ornament is part of the Percé-Verre Holiday Collection. A discreet guardian of roots and traditions, it embodies the anchoring, transmission and gentleness of gestures repeated year after year.

The gnome, discreet guardian of roots and traditions. He helps us to slow down and stay grounded, even when everything’s moving. He watches over the gestures passed down and the stories told each year. He doesn’t make much noise… but without him, Christmas would lose some of its meaning.

Every detail of this Quebec-made fused glass gnome ornament takes shape in my workshop. I cut, superimpose and assemble each piece with precision. Then, the controlled heat of the kiln unites the colors, revealing their full depth. This is not blown glass, but a meticulous work of artisanal fusion, crafted piece by piece.

Silent, the gnome evokes stability and memory. Hanging from the tree, it reminds us that traditions are never static: they evolve, are passed on and take root in shared moments. What’s more, each ornament is accompanied by a printed card bearing its story, to be treasured year after year.

At present, the images shown are workshop prototypes. However, the final version will benefit from optimized anodized aluminum and precisely adjusted glass parts for a perfectly harmonious look.
