This trio of fused glass cats features Limonade, Citron, and Limette, three inseparable friends who have known each other since elementary school. Despite their very different personalities, they have discovered over the years that the most beautiful friendships are often those that embrace differences rather than fighting them.

Citron is the group’s master planner. Caution, organization, and foresight are part of his daily routine. Some say he always sees the glass as half empty. He prefers to respond that he simply likes to be prepared for any eventuality. When a trip is planned a year in advance, Citron has probably already prepared a detailed Excel spreadsheet and mapped out several backup plans.

On the other hand, there’s Limette. Optimistic, spontaneous, and adventurous, she always sees the glass as half full. For her, the best stories often come from decisions made on a whim. Where Citron plans, Limette improvises. Where Citron anticipates, Limette discovers.

In between them is Limonade. The group’s mediator. The one who turns debates into conversations and differences into strengths. When discussions get too heated, he often shows up with some cookies, a big glass of cold lemonade, and a new idea that’s sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Whether they’re picnicking in an orchard, relaxing on a sunny terrace, or spending an evening putting the world to rights, the three friends are always together. Their friendship is built on respect, listening, and accepting what makes each of them unique.

Lemon sees the glass as half empty. Lime sees it as half full. Lemonade adds a few ice cubes and reminds everyone that what matters isn’t the glass, but the friends sharing it.

Handcrafted in Quebec by glass artist Stéphanie Béland, this original piece celebrates lasting friendships—those that endure over the years and grow more precious with time. More than just a decorative piece, this trio of fused glass cats pays tribute to the people who enrich our lives through their presence, their differences, and the memories they create with us.
